Meet Mr and Mrs Neon. You'll be seeing a lot more of these colourful characters over the next few months! They're a big part of Close's new online demo for its first-to-market online invoice discounting service, IDeal, which launches to the introducer market this summer.

The full-colour demo features full-audio commentary, user-friendly visuals, outlining just how to get the most out of Close's award winning software programme, plus filmed testimonials from satisfied IDeal customers.

David Thomson, Chief Executive of Close Invoice Finance explains the reason behind launching the demo: "The term unique is often used inappropriately in business but on this occasion I think it's justified. IDeal totally removes the need for time-consuming monthly reconciliations and can free up to 15% more cash for clients. Also, crucially for introducers, its technological interface fundamentally changes a client's risk profile, making invoice discounting accessible to many SMEs who would previously have been obliged to opt for factoring.

We chose to tell the story in digital format to reflect the hi-tech nature of our product offering, and the neon design symbolises the combination of the traditional (service values, retro look) with the modern (technological innovation, neon).

Since its launch in 2006, IDeal has been gaining ground fast. Close's flagship product already boasts 300 new clients with more signing up each month. Significantly, 30% of new clients are being poached from our competitors as clients and advisers recognise the sense in realising the cash tied up in their sales ledger without the traditional administrative burden of the monthly reconciliation process.
